Greenville PA (April 9th, 2019) – With the 1. NBA playoffs knocking at the door there are a few squads that are not usually on the other side. The 2. Milwaukee Bucks and 3. Brooklyn Nets, not your typical residents have made their selves at home. With 4. Giannis Antetokounmpo in charge the Bucks surprised the league by taking first in the 5. Eastern Conference. For the first time since 2015, the Nets have made the playoffs. 6. D’Angelo Russel leads the team to a 42 and 40 record which was good enough for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.
The 7. Denver Nuggets were the surprise squad in the 8. Western Conference. The Nuggets finished with a 54 and 28 record. That was good enough to finish second in the conference. The defending champions 9. Golden State Warriors are sitting at the number one seed with a 57 and 25 record. For the first time since his rookie year 10. LeBron James will not be in the playoffs. He and the 11. Los Angeles Lakers finished with a 37 and 45 record and will be watching the playoffs outside.
Game one tips off on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. when 12. Philadelphia 76ers take on the Nets. The last game of the weekend will be the 13. Oklahoma City Thunder facing the 14. Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
