Florida Oct. 20: Remains and personal belongings of Brian Laundrie were found. Laundrie is the fiancé of Gabby Petito, he has been missing for over a month. The remains were found in Florida’s Carlton Reserve in a location that had been previously submerged underwater.

While there are no confirmations of these remains belonging to Laundrie an investigation has been started. The personal belongings found where a backpack and a notebook belonging to him.

Laundries parents had previously directed FBI agents to Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, where some articles of Brian’s were found. Chris and Roberta Laundrie are choosing to remain silent until the identification of the remains is released.

A K9 unit trained in finding human remains and a medical examiner have been called to the scene. Both the area where to remains were found and the area the Laundries gave are just short drives away form the Laundrie home.

Laundrie is considered a person of interest in the case of Gabby Petito’ s murder. A warrant was issued for his arrest after he used her debit card without permission.

On September 19th Gabby’s body was found at Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area where her death had been ruled as strangulation. She had been dead for three weeks before her body was found.
