One of Thiel College’s newest writers for the newspaper is one you can see around campus often. Connor Matthew Steffey was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania on March 7, 2008. Connor has lived in Greenville all his life with his mom, dad, and sister, Henleigh. He is a part of the commuter’s portion of the students as he drives every day from the house he grew up in. As Connor grew up, he discovered many things about himself. He is very fond of chicken tenders and antiques. In his free time, he enjoys collecting many different types of rocks, playing survival video games like Minecraft and riding ATVs.
On the academic portion of his life, he was a proud graduate of Reynolds High School in Greenville. In college he is currently majoring in environmental science. The main reason he chose to major in environmental science is to help preserve the environment and contribute to innovating clean energy sources. Even though he does not participate in any sports, Connor does not stray away from any other clubs. In his freshman year, he is a part of the tabletop games club, TCTV, and, of course, The Thielensian. However, this list of clubs will most likely grow as he continues his time at Thiel College.
As one of the new members of the newspaper, Connor has been very dedicated to it when he is not busy. Even though we all know how busy he is as a college student, he always has time for his family, friends and now the Thiel College newspaper.
